“Restaurant is pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

recently went to the Burlington Palm with a large group for a meal. cost us £20 per head for a 3 course meal.

Service was prompt and pretty good, surroundings clean and tidy.
Food... again, considering how many people they were catering for, I thought it was pretty good. not amazing, but what you would expect and certainly didn't have any complainants.
Would certainly come back with a group etc for a meal..

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

Four of us stayed at the hotel for just two nights just before Christmas.
We all have only the highest praise for the whole experience.
Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and the dinner and breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent.

Will definitely stay again.

“Lovely Hotel & Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We were checked in by an exceptionally friendly and helpful receptionist. Our room faced on to the sea front and was clean and nicely presented. A lovely modern en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi. The room had nice little touches of chocolates and robes. Our evening meal was a pleasurable experience as was our breakfast with a lovely selection and ample quantities. Throughout our stay the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. We have stayed in other hotels in Gt Yarmouth before and this is definately one of the best.

Room Tip: Ask for a seafront facing room.

“Nice friendly great position hotel”

Hotel had great friendly staff especially the reception staff, we have stayed in both the std and exec rooms, the std rooms were fine but the exec certainly worth the extra, its well placed for everything, some reviewers seem to think they are reviewing a large 5 star hotel, hence reviews not so good. For the type and style of hotel it offers excellent value for money, go for the exec rooms.
The only thing I would say to the owners if modernise a bit, not only would this make your hotel even better but would also save you money, e.g all hotels now have duvets mostly with plain white covers, and a buffet breakfast where guests help themselves is the norm. This would have helped the single sausage reviewer!

Room Tip: Go for the exec rooms

“LAST CHANCE HOTEL...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

On arriving late on a Friday evening,, we dashed into the restuarant for dinner,,,before booking in,, The food & service was excellent,,however I feel this made up for the rest,, the hotel was set in the 1970s, rooms old fashioned, on arriving into our room we thought we had walked into the sauna,, they had radiators on full blast,, you couldnt breath,,, this rad was in control of the hotel aswell as had no valves.. so left windows wide open,, we came to the conclusion that the heating was in aid of the 90% 0f over 90s in the hotel!!!! trying to keep them alive..also we burnt our parts on them on a couple of occasion...
Also the bed we had was so lumpy frm springs I had a bruise...
So to finish, I would deff not stay here again,, or go to Grt Yarmouth again,, it is not worth the stick of rock..

Room Tip: dont go there....
