Booked a week stay (at short notice) at Sunnydene and arrived during the Caister Soul Weekend - which we didn't attend.
Martin left us know immediately he had booked us into a room at the back of the hotel so we wouldn't be disturbed by other guests returning to the hotel in the early hours. We weren't disturbed at all by noise during our stay.
Parts of the B&B are in need of a little TLC, but as with other hotels and B&B's, this is an ongoing project.
Martin and his staff are all happy to help, no sensible request is a problem to them. Very friendly people.
Breakfast during the week is 8.30 to 9am. Juice, cereals, english breakfast, toast, jam and coffee. If you want a variation on the English breakfast just ask.
No problem with the shower, water temperature or room. The room comes equipped with hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner and a welcome pack in the bathroom.
Towels changed as you require, just leave the dirty towels in the shower tray.
Bins emptied each day.
Room was clean and tidy.
Martin is a good host with plenty of tales to tell!
The walk to the centre of Great Yarmouth takes approx 20 minutes, all flat ground, so unless you have trouble walking this is no problem.
The only issue we had was with Great Yarmouth itself, certain visitor attractions seem to close earlier in the season that other seaside towns we have visited.
Would have no hesitation in booking again at Sunnydene.
