I had the pleasure of returning to the Premier Inn Harlow and enjoyed the same superb service.
Special offer prices of £29 (Saturday) and £19 (Sunday) made this weekend excellent value for money.
I'll certainly stay there again.
As a wheelchair user, access is good, rooms large enough and the Wetroom shower a real bonus for Premier Inn.
Excellent
Very poor show in all aspects. Very small and overpriced room, tiny and dirty bathroom, 1 towel for two people, luke warm breakfast. Did not complain at the time because we felt that the staff were incapable of correcting anything.
3rd Premier Inn stay in as many months and regardless of the location there are always helpful staff, clean, simple rooms, all perfectly adequate for a night or two.
House- keeping knocked twice in the morning and so felt rushed to vacate the room, despite leaving well before 12:00 check-out deadline.
And, as ever with Premier, is the fact that you have to pay extra for the internet. I would guess that a significant percentage of their clientele are business people, where the internet is a given requirement.
The Harlow hotel is a bit of a labyrinth, with many rooms being a long, long way from reception.
Despite this, great value, good sleep, no frills, tea/coffee in room.
I stayed here overnight with my mum because we were going to a wedding the next day nearby and had read very favourable reviews about it. The hotel was easy to find with lots of parking and a restaurant next door. The staff were friendly and the room clean and very good for the price. There were only two problems which were 1: the width of the beds. Really narrow and a bit hard. And 2: there was no seperate shower which made it impossible for my eldely mum to use because she could not climb into the bath to use the shower. However the hotel was very quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was in the restaurant and we pre booked for the continental which was self service and very good with lots of choice and as much as you could eat. The hotel is situated next to a canal/river and was very pretty. Overall I would recommend this hotel very favourably and will definatly stay here again.
