Having originally been booked in by friends we found it on trip advisor for £40 less, the bookings People refused to match the price for us to cancel and rebook. Upon arrival the hotel was very full as a number of events were n so we went straight to the room. When we pulled back the curtains we wre faced with a brick wall no more than 4 feet from the window making the room very dark, we complained to reception and they moved us immediately so ok there. The bad points - if you cope cope with being full don't take the bookings, our friend travelled from Dubai hat morning and simply. Key for a snack before we went out and was told "no, we're too busy. Suggest you go back to your room and order room service" an utterly bizarre attitude to take with paying guests, as surely the food comes from the same kitchen. We optd not to pay £13 each for breakfast, but as we walked by it was heaving, with people sat in the lobby, the bar, coffee bar - everywhere trying to eat.
It must have been an awful experience and people looked very glum.
Overall I wold say that if we had stuck to the original booking we would have paid £100, got a room with a bricked up window, got no service in the bar "cos they're busy", And queued for 30 yards for breakfast with nowhere to sit and eat it. Glad we paid £60 and went elsewhere to eat
