I should have read the reviews here before I visited Kinross - at least it would have set my expectations more appropriately.
This site is tired and in need of refurbishment. For a stopover, en-route, it was OK. You should bear in mind that the site is adjacent to a motorway service area, so expect some traffic noise. The bed was OK, the sheets clean and a good shower. At a bargain basement £20 for a night, I can put up with a grubby looking room.

I will start with the Good. Bed linen and towels were spotless, thank you. Good powerful shower, again thank you. But sadly that’s where it ends. The minute you go in the door it is Smokey, smelly, dirty and generally not welcoming. Desk regularly left unattended. Staff smoking in the entrance. It is badly in need of updating, and a thorough cleaning. It is just as well we only paid £20 a night for the room. There were a lot a maintenance issues in our room, as well as cleanliness issues. I am unlikely to return.

Tired and needs some upgarding. However, for the money was reasonably good value as it was clean and comfortable.Agree with previously stated comment that front desk was left unattended at times.

Uncomfortable beds & worn, tired old rooms. Not like any other travelodge I'm used to.
