Brilliant location - handy for the town centre, the bus station and the harbour. Breakfasts quite good (apart from the institutional coffee), main meal was good and the bar was friendly and stocked Orkney beers. Let down by the souless communal areas; a comfy welcoming lounge area is sorely needed

Well-priced room in central Kirkwall. Very well decorated room and bathroom recalling the "island" feel. Food in lounge bar good, but the decoration and service is not quite up to scratch with the room. No dedicated parking area but a town parking is just beside the hotel - just remember to feed the meter from 9am!

Sayed in this hotel several times and the acommodation is first class beats some 4 *
hotels in our main cities of scotland. The satff are very friendly and helpfull.
HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED

Really big room with separate lounge area and second TV. Bed lovely and comfortable. Slightly gloomy with dark carpets and drapes (but keep the light out in high Summer!) - overall very good. Breakfasts were good, even fresh raspberries and blueberries and of course the full Scottish. Loads to see and do on Orkney and a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance (thanks Tripadvisor!)
