I stayed at the Orkney on my way south from Stronsay. It was a most enjoyable experience with its central location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room with a wonderful view of Kirkwall gardens and roof tops. Above all, the best breakfast I have had in a very long while, cooked to perfection by the charming Chicago born proprietress with the sheltered garden to feast my eyes on. An experience to remember with great pleasure, hopefully to be repeated soon.
Room Tip: Ask for a room facing east or south, away from street noise
