Excellent staff lovely meals my recommendation try the steak we will be back sometime in the Newyear

Me and My hubby stayed here for three nights bed and breakfast, we do not normally stay in a pub/hotel but thought we would give it a go we were on our way to the edinburgh military tattoo on monday the 15th but decided to make it a long weekend, and hence choose this accomodation to split the journey up,, the food here is excellent, the staff and the locals are very friendly and welcoming, the rooms and the pub are very clean, would we stay again......most definatley, just a little warning it is a pub/hotel and until 11.30 the latest it can be noisy so if your looking for an early night this is not the place for you as the pub area also has a punch bag machine lol which the locals do use(maybe we should have them in every pub may cut down on violence) but overall i would defo recomend a stay here.

We dined out for a meal at the Townhead Hotel after a recommendation from a local resident, we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing I had the Steak and it was cooked to perfection our party of family and friends consisted of 20+ guests and the team at the hotel catered for all our needs. The majority of our party who were in Lockerbie as part of our Wedding sampled a wide variety of the extensive menu and I have to say the staff coped brilliantly.
All the food was delivered to our family and friends freshley prepared and we left the Townhead Hotel satisfied with the meals we'd had. A big thumbs up to all from myself and my husband Stephen, we will definately see you again when we stay in Lockerbie.
