This is a lovely hotel about 20 mins walk from the centre of Lowestoft and about 2 mins walk from the sea. The room we had was huge and very luxurious with a large sitting area as part of the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent quality with a very good wine. The owner was very helpful both on the 'phone when booking and during our stay with local info etc. Breakfast was a feast. Service was warm and efficient at all times. Great value for money and a lovely experience.

“A lovely hotel in a town with plenty of poor options”

Just wanted to say that this hotel was a great find after spending time in much poorer Lowestoft hotels. The rooms are smart and comfortable and a good size. The hotel has a good bar which even serves one real ale (Adnams). A simple restaurant menu whihc specilaises in plentiful but good cooking. Breakfast includes a proper traditional kipper (not the awful dyed version). The only downside is that it is not on the seafront but it is only 2-3 minutes walk from it. Staff are very friendly and efficient.
