Myself and my partner tagged along last min to his familys Christmas get together, and when booking over the phone they were accommodating and asked for payment, to which i gave my card details and told it had gone through. All that was left to do was enjoy our night away, which we did, only to be embarrassed upon checkout when they asked my partners mum (she organised the get together) for our payment. I was made to feel argumentative when i politely explained i had given payment details upon booking and told payment had gone through,could they double check? I was mortified with the whole situation and the lack of discreteness used when other guests approached the desk. They did not want to double check, so i asked if i could borrow their phone to check with my bank they had not processed the payment previously, the whole ordeal was embarrassing to say the least! And in my opinion avoidable. I received an apology but it did in my opinion spoil what had been an enjoyable stay.

That aside our stay was pleasant, the meal was enjoyable and our room was clean and from what i saw, so was the hotel.


Although a very nice hotel, i would not say it was a Boutique hotel, unless Boutique means Brown décor with burlesque ornaments in the bar area.


We paid £130 for two in a double room, which we later found out to be a boutique room. The price included a Christmas meal with entrainment and breakfast the next day.

Yet another fantastic works party night for the second year on the trot on Friday 9th Dec. We hope to be able to book again for 2012. Every year we have approx 50 people in our party and we have attended a variety of different venues over the years but The Inn On The Prom is top of our list for Friendliness, value for money, service, accommodation and food. As a lot of our party members do not live in the area they always need accommodation and the cost on the party night is unbeatable.
I can not understand the people who have provided a bad feedback if you are not happy complain direct to hotel and the staff are that helpful and service is so good they would immediately put this right. Yes OK we all pay good money etc. etc. but we are all human things get missed or mistakes get made, chill out. A party is what you make it and ours is always brilliant at the Inn On The Prom!

We organised our Christmas party here for 200 staff and the hotel made sure it was seamless! the feedback from everyone is they had a fantastic night and were really impressed with the hotel and the staff! We can't thank you enough for looking after us and making it a brilliant party night for all! Also, we love the bedrooms - really spacious and modern. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and host our Christmas party too. Thank you and well done!

We held our work Chritmas party at the hotel. The staff were fantastic all throughout the organising process and especially on the night. They were so friendly and helpful and the party was our best ever. The compere had a huge array of games and got everyone on their feet dancing, it was a brilliant atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, really large with boutique, modern decor. The food was much better than the usual Chrismas party fare and it was great to have a choice of menu options on the night. We would definitely recommend the Inn on the Prom for a brilliant Christmas party night.
