“A great short break line dancing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

We have just had a 2 night stay with a line dancing group, about 40 of us, from the moment we checked in we were made so welcome, when handed our room keys I asked if the room overlooked the park, which she said didnt, and a quick look at the bookings and she imediatly changed us to a lovely bay fronted room with a view. The Hotel is family run and this shows in the level of service and friendly staff. The food was lovely, good choice and all served nice and hot. The dance floor is excellent and far better than a lot of much more expensive hotels we have booked for dances, I made use of the pool and sauna but didnt get chance to use the gym, but will make sure that I do next year when we return for another fun packed party weekend

Room Tip: The front room we had does face the main road but there was little traffic late on

“Who chose this hotel”

I do not find writing easy BUT I have to write a review for this hotel. Fantastic.I did not have any idea of the accommodation we were going to. I was supporting a group of people with learning difficulties some very anxious, some away for the first time . We were welcomed, showed to our room in a very smooth flexible way and from that moment every day got better better, better. I had no idea that such wonderful staff existed. The rooms were very pleasant all hotel /bar, dining room, living rooms, cosy rooms ,restaurant and of course bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. Food (am French)was more than good. When I managed to steal an hour break i really enjoyed the swimming pool the steam room and jacuzzi .I have an endless list if praise .I am so amazed that I am planning to go back.. Now I also want to feed back from some of our service users I saw smiles and l witnessed laughs from people who can'find good in anything I heard" I want to stay here" I heard "Can we come back"" I want to come back" A week later we are still talking about how wonderful the stay was. Maybe I should write a bad review i want to be able to go back and might find I need to book well in advance. Tonight i found out who booked it I thank her even though she did not have a clue of the place, Thank you so much oops forgot to mention breakfast hard to choose see you again aaargh forgot to mention the place little alley, then cross a road and you'll see the dunes the sea and...more but i let you discover

I could not fault our stay in any way,The Langdales has the most friendly and helpful staff and was very accomodationg to the needs if our group traveling with people with learning disabilities, day or night. A very good variety of breafast and evening meals was offered and the rooms were cosy, well equipt and cleaned daily. I would highly recomend The Langdales Hotel and certainly return for another stay. Big thank you to all the staff and management.
