My husband and I had a wonderful romantic getaway at the Wilton Court Hotel. From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel welcome and fussed over. The staff were attentive and willing to please at all times and nothing was too much trouble. We dined in the restaurant both nights and the food was exquisite-high quality and locally sourced ingredients which certainly impressed us. The atmosphere in the cosy bar was spot on, complete with roaring fire and the ambience was perfect.
The en suite garden room was tastefully decorated with an enormous bed. The electric shower was a little lacking in power and the sprung mattresses were less comfortable than we would have expected but this could simply be down to our own preferences. The cleanliness and condition of the room could not be faulted.
Overall the Wilton Court Hotel feels like a cosy family run business. We enjoyed our break there and the restaurant stands out as being amongst the finest we have experienced.
