We stayed with Nola and Brian for 3 nights from 24th Sept. in their lovely B&B.
They made us feel like lifelong friends. Nola's home baked bread added to the
delicious breakfast and Brian's free taxi service from Salcome was a boon after a
meal in one of the restaurants.
We had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We stayed at Threshold for 4 nights at the end of September (During the great unexpected hot weather :-)). Nola and Brian welcomed us into their lovely home, with tea and biscuits. We all instantly felt at ease, at home and made to feel very very welcome.

My husband and I had the double room which was very comfortable and clean – spotless! My parents had the master bedroom, which was very spacious, comfortable and again very clean. They also had the added luxury of the waterbed which was a completely new experience for them and they found it very comfortable.

Threshold is a delightful bed and breakfast with a homely feel to it, Nola and Brian are very accommodating; they share local information, recommend local walks, restaurants and even kindly drove us into salcombe and back in the evenings.

The breakfast was superb a great choice/selection to choose from and was cooked just right !

There is plenty of information supplied, and available to you, I partially found the books in the room based on the local area very interesting. I also enjoyed the books referring to a holistic approach ~ A little peace of calm !.. Which is exactly was need and achieved during our stay.

Threshold certainly offers the personal touch; there is a sense of calm and serenity which makes you feel totally relaxed.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this B&B to everyone and would have no hesitation in going back.

From the moment Brian and Nola welcomed us with tea and biscuits we knew we had picked a special place for our 3 day break. As two mature female holidaymakers, Nola and Brian made us feel instamtly comfortable, recommending places to eat and even offering to take us and pick us up from Salcombe. Although our room was tight on space (twin bedded room), we had a wonderful couple of nights rest and sleep and thoroughly enjoyed waking up to a wonderful homemade breakfast! We stayed with Nola and Brian for three nights in mid september and were very well looked after. We stayed in a room that had a waterbed, which was a first, but was not as i had expected and was comfortable. The shower cubicle also doubled as a steam room which received plenty of use from my wife after our longs walks around Salcombe. The B&B was situated at the back of Salcombe with lovely views and a nice walk into town to build up the appetite, if the walk back was not fancied Brian was always there to offer a pick up service.
Breakfast was an enjoyable experience and was taken with the other guests and Nola and Brian which made you feel part of the family.
All in all a B&B we would heartily recommend and return to ourselves.
