My partner and I stayed here for one night over the festive period. We booked a special dinner, bed and breakfast package which included a cream tea on arrival and champagne with canapes before dinner. This was a real treat for us! The food was beautifully prepared and the waiting staff were happy to explain the menu and provenance of the food. They made excellent recommendations and were keen to ensure we were happy with our choices. The log fires were stoked in the lounge and bar areas which gave a lovely atmosphere. We also found other guests to be very friendly and not at all snooty, (some hotels I have stayed in have been very pretentious and guests have been less than sociable but not at Buxted during our stay).

The team at Buxted welcomed us in good spirits and everyone we met there was kind, helpful and attentive without being too intrusive.

Our room was large, warm and very quiet. We had beautiful views across the grounds to the church - we sadly did not have time to explore the grounds but others we met had been for a stroll - the hotel was happy to provide wellies and walking routes too!

We both felt fully recharged after our stay here and look forward to another visit in the future - thank you to the staff who worked hard to look after us!

My after Christmas birthday was spent in this lovely hotel and it was made all the more memorable by the outstanding professional staff and the wonderful food. Thanks especially to Marc Desseaux, an outstanding man, who went out of his way to make us feel very at home and special. This is definitely a must for a return visit, this time in the summer so we can enjoy the fabulous grounds. Thank you Buxted Park!

Wow!! What a fantastic way to start the New Year.
Arranged an overnight stay to celebrate a belated anniversary, really didn't expect to have such a fabulous evening.
We enjoyed aperitifes in the bar with a roaring fire followed by a six course gourmet meal in the stunning orangery.
The staff were attentive and professional but completley unstuffy,despite a late night following a big New Years eve wedding and yet another New Year Day wedding,we received lots of attention,every tiny detail was covered even down to the loan of some gorgeous gold wellies to wear in order to take an after breakfast walk in the grounds.
Thank you so much to Marc and his team,looking forward to returning in the summer.
