We have stayed at the Moorings several times, and each time have been made to feel so warmly welcomed. Sarah and Colin are a lovely couple who do their utmost to make sure that guests have everything they need. They are friendly and helpful, the rooms excellently appointed. The breakfast is delicious, plentiful and healthy. It's a pleasure to stay there, and we look forward to our next visit.

We normally stay with family while in Worthing, but as other family members got there first we had to find some accommodation for 3 nights (the week before Christmas). The Moorings was very comfortable, and above all, warm and cosy. The breakfasts were generous - in fact I had to ask for a smaller portion of porridge - and nothing was too much trouble. Parking outside too. Only thing that wasn't 100% was a bit of a squeak in the twin beds, but Sarah said they are being replaced shortly. If we needed accommodation again, would certainly go back.

Out of all the bed and breakfasts I have stayed in across the country down the years, it is wonderful to be able to find yourself in the company of such welcoming, caring and friendly hosts as Sarah and Colin. Nothing was ever too much trouble to ask for and the breakfasts wholesome, healthy, hearty and most importantly delicious. The room was immaculate: tidy, cosy and peacefully quiet. Sarah and Colin have clearly put a lot of hard work and effort in getting the property up to its excellent condition, striking a perfect balance between modernity and tipping a nod to the heritage that this home possesses. The top class service they provide is simply the sugar icing on a perfect cake. If I am ever staying in Worthing again, I will definitely be coming back to The Moorings. We had only booked for a one night stay last week but will definitely return to The Moorings at a later date. We arrived early and asked to drop our cases into the lobby but we were welcomed into our room with a welcoming smile and tea and coffee. We decided on staying at The Moorings rather than somewhere in Brighton (only fifteen minutes away)and was really pleased with our choice, especially as our stay was so much cheaper and quieter. The rooms are very spacious and the beds really comfortable, with a wonderful breakfast in the morning where our hosts provided some excellent advice on where to see and things to do in Brighton and indeed Worthing. We will definitely be returning sometime soon.
