“Tired but ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012 via mobile

Went there for a conference. Good budget hotel, but I don't know how much it actually cost me. Almost every floorboard creaked. Great location. Room and bathroom stank of air freshner. I would not take my wife here because she likes luxury, but for a man on his own who does not care much that the decor is old fashioned it is ok so long as you don't pay through the nose. They took a lot of care to feed all 150 of us quickly at the same time and the food was ok and hot. Not a bad effort, but if they spent a few million on it that would be great. Woodchip everywhere, fabrics yuck, furniture out of fashion, staff friendly, clean, nice feel even so.

“Lovely, friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

I stayed at the Chatsworth for one night and had a lovely time. The staff are friendly and the rooms are cosy. The hotel is just a minute's walk from the beach and a few minutes from Worthing's shops. Definitely recommended.

“What a delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We have just stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a coach tour (buzzlines reunion) and was very impressed with the staff and service that we received.

We was welcomed by all the staff on the front steps on our arrival and our cases were taken from the coach and placed outside our rooms whilst we had a welcome drink (the only other time i have seen this done is when we stay at the Les Orangers in Hammamet Tunisia) So well done to all the stafff excellent.

The dining room was well laid out and run like clock work all the waiting staff worked well and all of our meals were lovely and hot when placed in front of us at table and the food was excellent well cooked and creative. Well done the to the chef and his staff.

Rooms were clean and warm although some of the rooms can be a bit small so i was told tv in room with freeview although tv on the small side but not in room long enough to watch and we could see the sea from our room.

They have a well stocked bar and friendly staff throughtout hotel we had a lovely stay and would again if we were in the area. would recomend to friends and family so well done everyone.

“Small rooms and very limited parking.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

A nice enough traditional hotel, but the room I had was very small for a double. If you had the wardrobe door open you couldn't get to the front door or the bathroom.

Also, even though I turned the radiator off as soon as I arrived the room was uncomfortably hot, so I had to have the window open all night, meaning a lot of traffic noise.

If you don't arrive early enough there will be no parking near the hotel so you will end up in the multi-storey a couple of hundred yards away.

Great location in the centre of town and close to the sea front.

We stayed for two nights in December and the room was big, warm and clean with a nice view. The staff were very helpful. Well worth a visit.
