One time given a room of stains - yuk
This time sea view room, clean but flood in shower room each morning (where does that water go) due to short shower curtain.
Have not yet had a room here that would be worthy of the full tariff.

This hotel is right on the seafront,so the location couldn't be more perfect.We have just returned from a two-night stay.The staff were very welcoming and our room was fairly clean(although the bathroom floor would really benefit from a good scrub!) Wish there was heating in the bathroom though,it was freezing!We slept well,our room was at the back of the hotel,so no traffic noise.Would stay here again,but only when the weather was warmer!

My husband and I booked a 5-night stay in this hotel and we were given room 219. We were so delighted to find out that it has a sea view but as soon as we entered the room..we knew we were not going to like it. Let me give details of the room. The window wasn't clean AT ALL...think it's been years since it was last been cleaned. The bed was so soft that you'll sink. Every time someone moves, we find ourselves in the middle of the bed coz the bed can't handle both our weight. We woke up with backaches! The mugs have not been washed properly with coffee stains still visible! The curtains have stains too! Pillows are too thin that you wish you brought your own! The toilet bowl is disgusting! If you look closer you can see black under the rims! The shower was so weak it took us ages to rinse the soap off. There is a gap under the door that even when the light is off, seems still bright coz of the hallway light. The following day, we expected our room clean but the duvet wasn't carefully tucked in! Even the pillows were not properly placed on the bed! The toilet bowl was obviously not cleaned because it was still black under the rim! The ceiling has water stains and seems going to just fall on us!

We were supposed to stay 5 nights but had to book 3 nights in another hotel. We asked them to refund our Saturday night since its not a budget room and £80 (2 nights) come to waste because we just simply cannot stay in that hotel anymore!

My husband will write to Travelodge and hopefully we'll be refunded the whole amount we spent coz every minute of it was HELL!

DON'T EVER USE THIS HOTEL...IT'S TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!

booked 1 night on a Saturday for just £12. Asked for sea front room and got a good sized room, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Always ask for more pillows and always supplied.
Have breakfast at Densons at the end of the Pier - excellent value and views.
