the meal was excellent it was a shame the vegetables didnt come with the meat and not enough for the amount of people, the room we ate in was freezing cold had to eat our food with our coats on all they had was a small heater in a big room as they had problems with the heating they needed a bigger heater, and the people who had steak had to ask for steak knives,all it needed was some thought how to serve the food as the little things always get noticed, but i think if all these things were sorted it would be a nice place to eat.

First visit to the Preston Hotel for Sunday lunch, can't believe I have missed this for so long, just 10 mins walk from my house.Reasonably priced bar drinks,very good service and the food was exceptional and great value for 3 courses at £9.95. Will definately treat the family again to lunch on a Sunday if they all behave theirselves ! This is the place to go. Well done The Preston Hotel.

Before dining we purchased drinks at the bar, reasonably priced and good service from the bar staff, relaxed environment, we were able to drink at the bar or take out drinks to the pleasant outdoor area at the front of the hotel. We dined on a Sunday and had the opportunity to try the very reasonably priced 3 course sunday lunch. The food was delicious, really good portion sizes, large slices of meat and plenty of vegetables provided in side dishes. One diner asked for an extra Yorkshire pudding which was kindly provided. Despite being in a large party there was not a delay between individual diners receiving their order, child friendly too with high chairs provided. Staff are helpful, checked we were ok during the meal and read the specials board. Will definitely return for Sunday lunch, and intend on trying an evening meal here too. 

Payed 55pound for a shed outside.cold and damp,pubic hairs in the bathroom and coffee/tea stains everywhere.not value for money by any means.
