This hotel is in a great location just off the M40 Banbury junction. The rooms are of a good size with a large king size bed. There bathroom is compact and has a shower cubicle with no bath. This is fine for a couple of nights stay and suits me as a business traveller..
Free internet access is provided in the room via an Ethernet cable. This is a little too short, but I just unplugged it from the socket and put my own cable in so I could browse the net from the bed. One thing that I do find slightly annoying is the location of the plug sockets. Most people would like on by the bed to charge a mobile phone. When staying away this becomes my alarm clock and I use if for checking the time through the night. It's a bit annoying that I can not do this whilst the phone is charging. The available sockets at the desk area are too low for my to plug in the charger for my HTC phone, so I have to do it on the floor.
The lifts were broken during my stay, and on the first night so was the aircon/heating in my room. I mentioned this to reception and they said that the aircon/heating would be fixed today as it was affecting the entire floor. When I got back it was repaired.
The breakfast was a self service affair, but was more than adequate to start the day, just don't expect a full English. Will defiantly use again.
