I stayed at this B&B last weekend with my 14 year old son and our dog on a walking weekend. We found the B&B to be exactly what we wanted, the rooms were clean, there was tea/coffee and biscuits in the room, the breakfast was excellent with loads of local produce, a proper full English with croissants if required! The only grip, was the local pub did not do food, so that meant a trip in the car. But 1 ml away is the Packhorse Inn in Crowdicott, where the food and beer was excellent (book in advance as the pub gets very busy).
I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

A very relaxed but professional approach to providing good quality B & B accomodation. My friend & I stopped over during our trip on the southern section of the pennine cycle way. Yasmin - the "landlady" - is a great host and as they don't do evening meals they were kind enough to take us to the nearest resteraunt (which was reasonably priced) for our evening meal and as they were going also we shared a lovely evening with them.
their farm is a very interesting place to see and hear about and although I am sure they have dexcribed their business to many other guests they still made it sound very interesting which I suppose reflects their love of farming..

We stayed at Fernydale Farm B&B in Earl Sterndale for 3 days (with our dog) and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Yasmin is the hostess and she works very hard to make your stay comfortable -and her breakfasts are excellent. Our en-suite room had a good flat-screen TV and an ultra- modern bathroom. Best of all is the location with its stunning views. The farm itself appears to be very well run, tidy and is well stocked with black and white cows. It was a pleasure to see the cows being turned out in the morning and brought home at night! The village of Earl Sterndale is a good base for exploring Derbyshire. There is ample off-road parking at the farm.

We were made so welcome, and Yasmin went to great lengths to suggest and book restaurants for us. The choice at breakfast was overwhelming - and delicious - and our room was immaculate. Lovely view of the cows too.
