Comfortable bed with large, very convenient en-suite. A little cool weather-wise, so we appreciated the underfloor heating being on! This is a working farm, so we were able to enjoy watching the milking herd being moved up and down the lane from the pasture to the milking shed, with all of the accompanying farm noises. Yasmin cooked delicious breakfasts for us, preceded by a lovely, fresh fruit salad - something not always available. Very good value overall, and most enjoyable.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Fernydale. The room was spotless and facilities were modern. We made use of the conservatory the first night to sit with a bottle of wine and the views were simply beautiful. Yasmin was friendly and very helpful and she made the most delicious breakfasts for us. It is a working farm so you may hear the mooing of cows early morning but we didn't mind at all! Overall excellent value for money and we loved it! Oh and do try the royal oak nearby for meals - we had 2 excellent evenings there.

Brilliant relaxing break. Stayed for the weekend in the family room with our 2 dogs. Really lovely family room and en suite. clean and tidy Yasmine couldn't do enough for you. Would definately recommend this B&B

We stayed at this b&b over Easter 2011 and it was fantastic. The location is brilliant for walkers like ourselves and the views are stunning, but more importantly the welcome by the owner was so wonderful and the rooms were so clean and inviting that I cannot recommend it highly enough. The breakfast was also great too.
The b&b is a working dairy farm so be prepared for a full farm experience, for us this only added to it's charm! Plus it was dog friendly which was the initial reason why we chose it.
We did several local walks which were wonderful and also visited the Pack Horse pub for our evening meal, the food was average pub grub, although the owners were welcoming and helpful and I would recommend booking.
