I rang the Parkfield lateish on a wet, and cold night. when I could not make contact with the people at the Guest House I had originally booked into. Least said about that the better!. The owners of Parkfield had a vacancy and what a welcome this tired traveller received. No one could ask for more. The room was wonderful and warm and inviting. Everything you could want was there. As for the breakfast wow! don't think about your diet!. When next in Chepstow I know where I'll be staying!.

I only spent one night at Parkfield 7 but I enjoyed it so much I will recommend it to everyone! Beautiful, clean, comfortable modern room, piping hot water, soft and fluffy towels, comfy bed and the friendliest host you could wish to meet. I couldn't get any reception on my phone so Elizabeth lent me hers! Nothing was too much trouble! Excellent breakfast too. Looking forward to next year when I will definitely stay there again.

Booking for 4, 2 rooms due to visiting relatives in the village, all well travelled and use to 5 star hotels so was a bit apprehensive, neednt have been the rooms were spotless, warm, comfortable beds, lovely en suite. Elizabeth the owner was amazing, nothing too much trouble, we also booked our "village resident relatives" in for breakfast with us and what a treat that was!!!, fresh, excellently presented and the best breakfast by far we have had in a long time. Will definately be returning in 2010.

Very nice breakfast, straight forward clean room and a lovely host to boot. Recommended for sure.
