Good access to local amenities. The hotel provided excellent service in spite of current renovation. Well done. An excellent short stay location.

It's okay. Rooms not so big but comfortable enough. Needs updated as it's all a bit Scottish 1970's but I guess their is a market for what the Hotel sells. The reception staff were impolitely unaware that in 2011 customer service is what counts - please don't interrupt my conversation by telling me that I should have dinner in the hotel because... there wasn't a because. Great bar though with a good beer and whisky selection. The scottish breakfast was just that with dreadful service... I think the staff think they are doing us a favour serving us breakfast. However as Dunkeld is a fantastic wee place and the room price is right for what it is I'm going to reccommend this place to friends!

Having stayed in all three hotels in Dunkeld I was expecting something better than the Hilton or the Atholl as this hotel is ranked no. 1. Nothing doing.... Similar room size (small) to the Hilton and a bit smaller than the room at the Atholl. Food was very mediocre, however we arrived late and they served us after last orders for the kitchen.
This hotel provides better value than the Hilton... but doesn't have the good food and the great location.

Clean, comfortable, well appointed room.
Wonderful location for a relaxing visit. Nice walks amid beautiful countryside.
Food was excellent and well presented.
Would highly recommend this hotel - good value in all respects.
