We had a very enjoyable stay at the Glenmorag Hotel. Many thanks to Mhairi and all her staff for a great service, and for making us feel so welcome and for creating a really warm atmosphere. Great value for money. Highly recommended. :o)

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the Clyde are magnificent.

Have just returned from a weekend trip with David Urquhart Travel to dunoon. This hotel was great, nothing too much bother. Rooms nice and clean, fresh towels every day.We were in room 80 which had a lovely view over the firth of clyde. Food good and always piping hot.

Room Tip: Would recommend room on third floor with sea view.

“tired but warm welcome”

we also stayed in room 79 on 2nd floor .no problem with heating in this hotel it was toasting. I wish the shower had been better it went hot to scalding to freezing all the time not a pleasant experience. The food was of a decent standard considering 3 bus tours in at mealtimes good pleasant service and also quick to serve you nothing too much trouble .so well done staff.the entertainment was mixed and ok .some acts better than others but on the whole good effort .Its true the hotel is old and tired but the welcome is warm and the thirty bob bar is AMAZING in this day. Again a big plus for the glenmorag sort out the decor the HARD beds and the showers and you will be number 1. in DUNOON

Room Tip: pay extra for sea view BEAUTIFUL

“excellent value for what we paid”

stayed the first week in november with coach party from south wales, changed rooms on arrival a must to get a front room overlooking the clyde, staff very friendly and helpfull, meals were ok not brilliant we just kept saying(you get what you pay for)it was supposed to be "scottish party night"second nights entertainment was a chap singing scottish folk music o.k! third night chap on keyboard and 2 girls highland dancing they were the best, and FRANK a chap on holiday wish had gone somewere else"last night was a singer you would see at any workies club,o yes and frank again ,summarise, entertainment was not good, scottish banquet night was a spoon of haggis neaps and tatties so dont get to exicted, hotel is dated and tired but the ambience made up for it.

Room Tip: keep in mind you get what you pay for and pay to upgrade to the front of the hotel
