Needless to say much,my friend my senior officer recommended to stay in western hotel ,dunoon and i booked with my wife for 3 nights dinner,bed and breakfast,booking was made by telephone and confirmed by post with full term and conditions of the booking,charges are very low,on arrival i parked the car in hotel car park which is fully 24 hours protected by cctv cameras,on arrival in side of the hotel warm welcome and they took my luggage in my room which was sea front big room with widescreen LCD tv with entertaiments sky channels,freshley decorated,new wine/red luxury room carpet,very nice smell in the room and quite warm,and the same nice smell all over the 3 floors,very pleasant atmosphere,all modern and up to date safe and safety requirements are there,for the safety and protection of the guests cctv camera are fitted in all the floors so many cameras and facility for digital video recording 24 hours to
keep safe and safety of the guests,this is very good idea i like it,i had good food,relaxing and peaceful and sound sleep,the people are very efficient,gental,well mannered and
highly curtious,i really had a good time there,i will recommend my friends to come here on all occasions...Always Say Yes Aagain...

i made an internet booking by email :westernhotel@talktalk.net Very quick response and confirmed the booking,warm welcome on arrival,own car park,elegent big lounge facing seaview,good food,i had happy and cosy time like home,no hesitation to recommend my friends and relatives here,home at planet

i stayed in this hotel with my wife for leisure break for 3 nights,dinner,bed and breakfast,and we found very comfortable,and enjoyed there from all aspects,we will go again there if it happens to go to dunoon

My heavily pregnant wife and i booked a two night stay in this horrible place, we arrived to find no parking space so were instructed to double park until one of the three spaces were free! We were asked to pay the bill up front before being shown the dining room,we were shocked to find the other guests waiting on our arrival as the owners would not start serving the evening meal until we were there (which was a fixed menu!!)We were then shown our room which was tiny,dirty and hot! The bed was only a three quarter which was in no way big enough for the both of us and the window was firmly painted shut!
I went to the management to say the room was unsuitable and they offered us another room but we would need to wait for it to be cleaned, we took a walk along the beautiful beach and returned in hope of a better room. The room at first glance seemed better, however on further inspection it was found to be cleaned by Stevie Wonder!! the window was screwed shut but given some gentle persuation i managed to open it a few inches to let some air in to my by now very upset wife- the final straw came when we found the previous occupants chinese take away under the bed!!!
After much grovelling by the owner we agreed to stay the night- it was the worst night i ever spent in a hotel, room was way too hot and the bed felt damp! The only good point of the whole escapade was that the breakfast was quite good!
However this could not change our mind about cutting our stay short and after a heated debate with the owner i got our initial cheque back and paid him for our one night stay. We would recommend a visit to Dunoon, but DO NOT STAY IN THIS AWFUL HOTEL!!!!
