Barry & Suzie are great, the hotel is in a lovely quiet spot, spectacular views. There is not very much to do in Dunoon but plenty of walks. Good value for money.

I was staying on business and found the hotel to be clean (my main priority) friendly, lovely food (the lasagne was excellent). I wished I was on hols as I oculd have made this a holiday base. I've recommended it for fellow colleagues who will be working in Dunoon shortly.

On Arrival was welcomed by the Owners and shown around the Hotel (Characteristic 1860s Seafronted Hotel), we were then shown personally to our room

Room was Very Clean and Very Comfortable and had everything we needed.

We were made welcome at all times by the owners and they were accomadating to our 3 year old son, and provided him with colouring books and pencils to keep him entertained.

The Bar is well stocked, and the Beer was nice :) Views are Amazing of the River Clyde

After a very comfortable nights sleep we all had a lovely breakfast, which was served with Great Customer Service and a Personable Smile and Conversation that just does'nt come with the bigger chains of hotels.

I stayed here for three nights in September 2009. Though a solo traveller I was given a big twin room with superb views over the Firth of Clyde. The room was fine and the beds comfortable, although the en-suite shower room was slightly cramped. The breakfasts were excellent, cooked to order, although a greater variety of fruit, cereals etc would have been welcome. The proprietors were very friendly and welcoming. A great place for a relaxing stay at a very reasonable cost.
