This was our first experience of a Premier Inn and it was quite an eye opener, we were very pleased with the room it was basic, but had a very comfortable bed, it was clean and more spacious than I expected, the TV was screwed to the desk to make sure you did not steal it. We were a tad upset by the staff member, but this was because of the Premier Inn's policy here, as we paid cash we had to give some form of ID, like our driving license, passport etc so that we would not steal from the rooms. If you want to use wi-fi here it is very expensive, we were quoted £5.00 per hour or £9.00 for 24hrs if we wanted to use it, we didn't bother so I cannot say if it worked well or not. The breakfast and evening meal was in the pub next to the hotel and was very pleasant.
