Our welcome was less than positive. The receptionist had out reservation but didn't know that it was a pre-paid room, so we were charged twice (the management were able to refund this afterwards). The room was average size and quality it was clean but not in a great condition. The service in the restaurant was awful, we were left standing at the bar while the barman served the people closest to him not those next in the queue, when we asked a question of the barman about the timings for breakfast rather than offering to find out he told us to go and ask someone else. The waiting staff were slow, impolite and seemed more interested in making excuses for why the food was so late rather than in going to the kitchen and getting the food. On our first night there was a wedding at the venue and our food was top quality, on the second night there was no wedding and out food was dry, over cooked, slow, cold and generally awful (as was that of the other people in the restaurant that night). We asked at the reception if they had a vegetarian breakfast and were told yes we have continental, the next morning on going for breakfast we told no you can only have a cooked breakfast. I would not recommend staying here unless there is a wedding taking place when they appear to have many more staff and much better service!
