I visited the resort last year, staying in a silver bungalow and was very disappointed with the accomodation, it was dirty, poorly kept and the tv was worthless with no reception. But what a difference a few months makes! This year, the accomodation was spotless, freshly decorated, and bought up to date with a small flat screen digital tv. The main venue has also been done out and some new attractions added. All in all, me and my son (4yrs) had a brilliant time, and felt very comfortable in our bungalow. :)

Just back from Butlins. As we booked late we had accommodation without the lounge and kitchen we usually have but as this was nearer all the facilities, it was fine.
Also, we usually go Premier dining but this was fully booked so we went into the normal restaurant which was also fine. The food was excellent. Lots of choice, very well cooked and presented. The tables were kept cleared and clean, much better that a lot of restaurants I have been to.
Entertainment for the children is very good....always something for them to do.
The swimming pool is very good.....for young and old.
The only thing we had a moan about was the weakness of the shower pressure ! They do not have chalet maids coming in anymore so you do have to empty your own rubbish in the bins provided and they do not supply any towels. (Plus, dont forget to take loo roll)
The walls are quite thin so you might be unlucky if you have a noisy neighbour.

Just come back from a short weekend break at butlins minehead.kids didn't want to come home always something going on and kids didn't want to come home.we stayed in silver plus which was better than we expected and close to main complex .just beware the seagulls outside ice cream parlour as one swooped down and stole my ice cream.will definitely return

We stayed in a Deluxe suit which was lovely and clean. I was very surprised. The car parking space outside was a god send!! There ware coffee and tea making facilities, a fridge and the rooms very spacious.
We stayed half board and we never had any problems with the food even my 2 year old daughter was catered for well. We had a selection for 3 courses. If I could change anything here maybe a restaurant with waitress service would excel our stay. (Just being lazy) It was nice not having to cook. My time to relax!!
The entertainment was great too. We even had a new years day pantomime!! This was really good. The only issue I had was the cues to get into the main room, my daughter didn't enjoy the waiting.
I would recommend this too anyone. I am rather fussy about accommodation and would not stay in any other accommodation other than a deluxe.
