I was in Newbury on business and stayed at the Chase Guest House for a week in the delux double room. Check in and check out were very quick and easy. The place was very clean, warm and tidy with a nice shower cabin and a bath in the en-suit. There was a good selection of toiletries and teas provided. The service was excellent - the room was cleaned daily and breakfast was cooked to order every morning. Kathy left a selection of fruit in the dining area for us to snack on in the evenings. She couldn't have been more helpful at recommending places to eat nearby and gave a few voucher deals for restaurants in Newbury town centre. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at the Chase Guest House with my husband whilst visiting family in Newbury. We really enjoyed our visit as the guest house was so clean and comfortable, and our room was so nice we didn't want to leave! Many thanks to Kathy and Kate for a lovely stay and a fabulous breakfast!!

A real pleasure to turn up at an English B&B and find such inmpeccable cleanliness and attention to detail. Kathy and Kate provided comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, superb and friendly service, and to top it all, an extremely generous and delicious breakfast (no lunch needed after that!). Have already recommended it to various people in the area and would not hesitate to continue to do so. Thank you both!

We went to Newbury races for Ladies Day, so decided to make a weekend of it. Looked for a B&B,& found the Chase. Arrival greeting was very warm & friendly, & first impression of the deluxe room was WOW!. It was really spoltlessly clean, very modern & fully equipped with everything you could need & more. Kathy saw us in , then offered Cava while we got changed. Very impressive. She also gave us a lift to the races, at no extra cost. The ensuite was roomy, immaculate, with high quality products for us to use if we wanted, thick plush towels aswell. The room was very spacious, with a good variety of refreshments to eat & drink, including fresh fruit. The bed was very comfy, & a good nights sleep was had. Breakfast was a feast! Fresh fruit & juice, cereal, full & beautifuuly cooked & presented breakfast, & loads of home made organic toast. Lovely! Generally, We felt that Kathy & Kate took great pride in everything. Fantastic. My husband said `If this is a 4 star silver, what more could you get for a gold award?` You couldnt beat it in my opinion.
