Had a two night stay in October 2011. I have older children which where well catered for quite often hotels have family rooms which are small and everyone is on top of each other - not the case here, we had a large room with one single and one double bed and a small room off it with another double bed and a lovely bathroom with a p shaped bath and a shower- TVs in each room, a kettle, tea and coffee in the main room. Beds were comfortable, rooms were nicely furnished, clean and modern (no floral fabrics here). The room we stayed in was on the top floor with a three flight climb but the room was so nice and such good value we didnot mnd.
Breakfast was tasty and well cooked and there was plenty of drinks and toast. The hotel also had a resident lounge and a small honesty bar and we were offered tea and coffee on arrival.
The hotel overlooks the north cliff and views from the front are lovely, parking was on the road and the hotel provided permits so you can come and go as you please during your stay. Christine, the manager, was lovely, accommodating and helpful.
Room Tip: Let them know if you have older children- ideal place for larger families.
