We stayed in the Balcony Suite for two nights on the 29.12.11. It was a wonderful experience and very enjoyable. The suite was well equipped ,but a little cold at times. It had a well equipped kitchen,cosy bedroom and excellent views across Scarborough right outside your front door. Roland the host was very friendly and helpful, his breakfasts were excellent and we would highly recomend the kippers. The toy collection brought back many childhood memories. The windmill is situated close to all the amenities of Scarborough, although we had difficulty finding it at first.(Follow Rolands instructions!) We would like to return but in the summer when it's a little warmer and would have no hesitation recommending it family & friends for a break that's a little bit different.

we stayed on the 9/12/11, is a nice place to visit, rooms nice and warm, breakfast was nice, not to much not to little. Near to town and sea front, 5 minuite walking distance from b&b the town center. was great stay will go again. But if your looking for a hotel then this may not be the place for you as it doesnt have swimming pool or room service or spa treatments, but is a nice place to unwind and relax.

we enjoyed the relaxing break at the Hotel,more of a B & B with a difference.......lots of collectors toys to look at while eating breakfast.
The Breakfast was very nice plenty of food on the plate,even though we had to order the night before which we have never had to do, still I suppose that's because we usually stay in Hotels BUT I especially didn't appreciate having to get up for 8-30 to 9!!!! for it on a Sunday morning.
The room was nice & warm with a flat screen TV.
We had a 4 poster bed, which I have always wanted to try, very comfy although you had to be careful climbing over the wooden sides when getting out of bed as it was too easy to catch your knees on the boards, especially if you haven't got long legs!!

We have just spent 2 nights at the windmill bed and breakfast. It was my 21st so we stayed in the balcony suite for something unique and found it was definitely worth every penny! We had a really relaxing stay and found it was just what we needed after a hectic summer. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and make good recommendations for restaurants in town- we had a lovely meal at florios italian. We'd love to come back and stay again and will be recommending to friends and family.
