My partner and I took our two grandchildren for one night and I was very impressed. Some reviews on here made me think twice about booking but I decided to try it as we travel to Scarborough several times a year and we always end up in different hotels. I found the family room we stayed in was spotless, it was very comfortable and spacious and we can not fault anything about it. The breakfast was great and the children tried everything and they loved it. We will be going back to The Greno on our next visit.

We stayed hear for 2 nights over new years,

we were welcomed by the owner who helped us with our bags and took us to our room (7) the best one!! it had a full 180 degree view of scarbourough bay from the beach to the castle it was lovely.

The room was spacious with a huge double bed which was really comfortable, en-suite shower and toilet, tea and coffee tray with all the local infomation and a tv.

brekfast was a little early after a few drinks the night before but it had everything you would want, cereals, toast, fresh fruit, and a lovely cooked english breakfast to top it all off.

we had a lovely stay here and would reccomend to all our friends

Shabby, Dirty, outdated rooms, tea stains, damaged beds, poor hygiene, shower gel empty......... need i say more!! this is in no way a 4 star B&B - breakfast was ok and plentiful - I would never stop here again and certainly wouldnt recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Greno Hotel ,very clean & tidy owner very friendly .Great view from room (14) breakfast was excellent , Hope to return again .
