I have just returned from my 2nd visit to the fab derwent house and it gets even better keith and carol are great, carol is so funny with her impression of blanch[corry] keith always reminds me of norris.This hotel is a must for anyone wanting to stay in scarborough and have a relaxing time.Thank you again Blanch and Norris sorry Keith and Carol see you next year.

Went to Scarborough to see the big yin. We had a cracking weekend. Guest house was perfect. Weather was a bonus!

We have stayed at this great little guest house for the past 4 years. I feel compelled to write a review after reading a previous review. We stayed over new year also and were disgusted by some guests behaviour. The owners Keith and carol are so helpfull and go out of there way to help anyone. We complained about some drunken behaviour and the people were asked to leave. We were disgusted by the abuse that was hurled at the owners and there young family. It was totally unnecessary. We will return and would definitely recommend to anyone .

Had a very lovely weekend away here. Very clean and lovely owners.Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Room Tip: Definitely recommend a sea view room.

I stayed at the Derwent House Hotel January 2012, and had a fantastic new years break. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I am looking forward to returning next month and would recommend this to anyone.
