A hotel that meets all your needs with the most fantastic food served at a function that I've ever eaten. Apple creme brûlée was memorable!
Would not hesitate to stay again and recommend that if you do stay that you dine there too .

I visited Scarborough last week and stayed 2 nights in the Palm Court Hotel (the last time I stayed there was 1984 or 85). I love revisiting Scarborough and was fortunate with lovely sunny weather. Great for January. The hotel was much as I remembered it. Clean and smart and the staff were excellent. It has a great swimming pool. It has it's own car park, a one minute walk away. On the negative side the bar area is small and featureless.

Stayed for one night with a large party. Very happy with size of room, facilities etc. BUT the promised pool was closed which was a shame as that was the main reason for booking the hotel.
Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast service and food was superb.
Downside was the temperature - it was sooo hot - even opening a window didnt really help. All in all however well recommended.

Came to the Palm Court for a family do and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is excellent. Considering the dining area was full the meals came out quickly and the food was yummy. My only criticism being that there was too much red wine on the plate and in the gravy (not to everyone's taste) and the veg was almost raw. There was an embarassing situation in the reception area with a guest who had had too much to drink and the staff handled it brilliantly. I would definitely consider staying over here and I'm sure we will be celebrating many more family events here in the future.
