We had a lovely welcome from Tina, Shaun and little Elsie. Tina could not do enough for us and is so enthusiastic and obviously enjoys what she is doing. Very clean room and establishment. Excellent meals! Not too far from esplanade and the wonderful views of Scarborough. We will definitely be going again.

Had a weekend at Powys lodge. Best b&b I have ever stayed in. Lovely hotel really clean lovely rooms and the breakfast was amazing. Tina & Shaun are great hosts and could not do enough for us. Will be going back to Powys Lodge really soon as it's a lovely place to stay. Would definatly recommend.

Despite an oversight from the previous owners Tina and Sean sorted it all out. We arrived Saturday and from the very first moment felt right at home. The room was excellent and the Breakfast was great, nothing was to much trouble. We plan to go back in August. We had such a good time we never wanted to leave. But the main thing was we came as guests and left as friends.

Excellent time we had at Powys lodge, we were well looked after it was like a home from home was made to feel very welcome and did not want to leave at the end of our stay and will be booking for later on in the year.
The breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean,it was cleaned on a daily basis, we did not want for anything, there were tea and coffee making facilities.
Overall a good well run hotel, cant wait to return.
