great location, clean rooms, quiet and welcoming, will definately recommend

We stayed for one night in January in room 3. The room had everything required and was very clean, with lovely views of the sea and castle. The breakfast was excellent. However, the main thing we noted was the friendliness of the owners from start to finish. We were offered a cup of tea on arrival andf were made to feel very welcome by Alan & Judith. We have stayed at many guest houses in Scarborough but this is the first one we will definately be returning to. Highly recommend!

Alan and Jude were perfect hosts and have done a great job in making The Leeway a really welcoming, clean and comfortable guesthouse. The breakfast was superb. Only stayed the one night but were seen off like old friends. Recommended.

We stayed for 3 days in January, in Room 3, and were very pleased with the accommodation, the food, but particularly with the friendliness of the owners, who made us feel so welcome and like family. The views were super from our Room, and the hotel is well placed for both North and South Bay. The items provided in the room were more than expected and even included a dressing gown each. The room was spotless. It was excellent value for money, and we hope to return soon.
