“Ship Containers with no Sea View”

Well, I know it's a Airport Hotel. It's in Slough, Kind of, and in between the M25/LHR 5 & A Slough industrial estate. It serves a purpose to many Hard working travelling people, who would rather be staying at home or elsewhere but it's cheap ish, and needs must but this joint made me feel like it was the end of the road.
Not Clean
Very Noisy
Expensive parking and shuttle bus to t5
Bad food
Bad smells
Bad vibes

oh well.... you get what you pay for but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you are one of the following :-

Fussy
A single Woman
Expecting something average
Like 's average food
Love's to sleep at least 1hr

Advice - Pay more - Sleep better

Night x

Room Tip: They are all the same - Old shipping containers (I do not Jest)

“No issues for a night, good stopover for early flights”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

Paid £39.5 for a family room, would have been £25 if I hadn't left it late, and it was absolutely perfect for three people. Room had fold out sofa bed bed and there was plenty of room to lay out three suitcases. Arrived late night so made no use of bar and food, but it looked fine, checkin was fairly easy and obtaining an iron at 1130 pm was no issue either. Note you have to carry this yourself to the room. I've read the reviews on this place and to be honest we got what we paid for so I think it was absolutely fine. If you want ultimate luxury go stay at the Sofitel but its a load of extra money for nothing really. This is an ideal airport stopover. Would I stay more than one night ? Probs not but thats what these things are designed for. Never had time for breakfast but it looked absolutely fine when we checked out. Took hoppa bus which was £4.5 per head one way , BUT if you buy ticket from the hotel machine its only £4 per person. Worth knowing if there are a few in your party.

“Why do people complain about this place?”

First off this is a travelodge so I don't know what some people are expecting. The rooms are big and very clean with a comfy bed. Check in super easy and the food and drink in bar area reasonable. The airport connected by a £4 bus. I was impressed with this place and it was perfect for my one night short stay. Friendly staff!

“unexpected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

After booking the T5 hotel and read the comment of that you will get scare as so many comment , but for me I didnt expect the hotel will nice decoration as four star hotel as just think this is like hostel. so when i arrived i only felt not bad, as the staff is friendly and quickly check in and when i got inside the room i felt unexpected, clean, tidy and big room the sizes even bigger than my previous booked room at paddingtiong but the cost is four times.and the breakfast not like another people said is bad, as the buffet have a juice , bread, egg , beacon, fruit and yogurt etc, expecially the coffee is quite good as well. The hotel have a problem of the noice come from the car and airplane, even my room at fourth floor, still heard but after midnight it will reduce and can accept. I recommended to book this hotel for short stay not for long stay, for me as i only slept one day is fine .if you booked for whole trip i dont think is good choice as the location is far from the central and the transportation cost is expensive even use a hoppa bus from to airport you need to pay 9 pounds .

Room Tip: if over 3 peoples take a taxis is much cheaper than to take a hoppa bus
