Having stayed at this hotel last weekend, Myself and my better half checked in on the friday late evening...(past midnight), the receptionist was very much on the bull, registration was quick and easy and away we went to the room. The lady was alone on the desk, and seemed extremley busy as they did have a party happening in the hotel aswell, so very loud music, alot of people about, yet she still managed to uphold a graceful attitude and a smile.Having entered our room on the 5th floor, we were very much happy with the size and well maintained room. The bed was very comfortable, we didnt have any issues regarding the room, even better was we couldnt hear the music from the party, so was very grateful we were given a room higher up. The following morning breakfast was a treat. Great selection. Staff were great. Unfortunatley i didnt bring along my cozzy, so skipped the leisure club. We visited windsor during the day wish was a nice getaway. Back at the hotel on the saturday evening, another busy day they had, more parties. Yet I must say, the staff were so upbeat and extremley helpful. Having been checked in by the young lady, I approched her again for details of how to get to london- i was given a map of the tubes, and she also gave me timings to catch the train from slough- she had a great understanding and knowledge of the surrounding area, and also gave me some great ideas of places to visit in london...one being Portobello market....which was a real treat. I did notice the reception lobby was always very busy, at all times of the day, and a small que was forming i think to check in, yet this young lady was very patient with me, answered all my questions and remembered my face and name from check in, which i just thought was lovely. We had dinner in the Bugis street restaurant, the host was a pleasure. Again, very busy, however professional at all times and athe host always had a big cheeky grin on his face. It was an early night for us that evening, but our stay was short but sweet. We recommend this hotel for a nice short break, we would however would have liked to stay longer. Thank you to everyone at this hotel, it is being managed very well and a big clap to the staff as they had a busy weekend. Having found out on checkout with a young gentleman- Adi, i found out the name of the lady i kept talking to...thank you to Kayleigh for your help and patience.
