This must be the poorest Holiday Inn I have been in, the restaurant was very cold, one pathetic fan heater. The room was ok, the food was ok. The car park charge £5 was totally unjustified and was automatically added to your bill.

Stayed here on business further to 4 or 5 previous stays over the last year or so.

Im a Priority Club member but was put in one of the new refurbished rooms on the first floor instead of upgrade to a Club room. Excellent! the rooms are an amazing transformation with a great design, nice new bed and a big TV with freeview a big plus when away from the family, I got the remote all night! The builders were on my floor in the morning but they were friendly and quiet for builders, all said a polite hello.

Dinner was ok, I dont venture out from this hotel too much, a taxi to Windsor is ok, but the food was good on room service.

Stayed at this hotel in an executive room. The room was large and clean with a comfy bed. Other reviewers have mentioned the noisy old fan heating and the tired bathrooms. This is certainly the case but there are signs everywhere saying that they are in the middle of a full guest room refurbishment. So I guess they are trying and for the money, I have to say it was pretty good value. However, "the couldn't care less" attitude from the reception staff was inexcusable. On check in, there was a staff member in training. Whilst I'm aware that needs to happen it made check in painfully slow. On check out the grumpy receptionist barked....did you use the mini bar? I replied I hadn't and neither did I get the complimentary bottle of wine that was advertised to which her response was to shrug her shoulders and say "oh we'll you should have asked" her sense of humour failure got even worse when I pointed out that the room was advertised as having a bed as well and I didn't need to ask for that to be provided! Her final act of grumpiness was to charge me £5 to park the car. In fairness, I did know this was going to happen but on arrival the barriers were up and they never went down. It was fair game for anybody in slough just to park there free of charge but they charge their guests for the pleasure. Something not quite right there in my humble opinion! All in all not bad but falls far short of most of the Holiday Inn brand.

Great rooms, comfy beds and good facilities. Staff were polite and curteous although we had a minor issue with the barman re: keeping the bar open. It was sorted quite quickly though.

Only issue is location; it's not really walkable from Slough centre and it was £6.50 in a cab. However, it's a 10 min walk from the ice rink, handy for us seeing as we'd come down for the game there.
