I spent two nights here with two young children and without my partner, arriving late after a long drive from Edinburgh. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant - I phoned in advance to let them know I was arriving after 10.30pm, and the guy on reception at this time (Jordan) was expecting me, helped me with my luggage to our room, and then kindly offered to bring us hot chocolate (realising it was going to be difficult for me to leave the room with the two children) which was SO appreciated by my eldest and myself. The room was perfectly clean and spacious with a good sized ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was really good - I ordered a premier breakfast which means the children can eat for free - and there was such a great choice of things for them to eat; cereal, croissants, toast and of course half of my full-breakfast! The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and my two girls loved it.
