First can i say, thank you very much for a most relaxing break. just what we needed, Everything was perfect, rooms nice and clean, beautiful white sheets, and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Dinner was first class, with good choice, could not fault it at all.......All staff we very helpfull and polite, very well run, manager Dan and Dave run a very beautifull hotel......its a shame they are closed all winter, but cant wait till they open again on the 23rd March, and will certainly be going back...... we went on a DB&B for 3 nights and it was excellent value.......thanks again....

Difficult to assess with hotel closing for further refurbishment during the winter. Room was fine and food well presented and varied. Staff were not up to speed but that maybe was the result of the impending closure of the hotel. Come next year when re-opened will likely re-visit when we would expect the staff standards to have also improved.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely break at the Deeside Inn where we had the pleasure of renewing our friendship with Dan the manager ...........Dan used to be at the Dreadnought in Callander .....The hotel was excellent as was the food ....the room was nice and cosy and the bed was very comfortable ....The lounge room was most inviting with its big log fire and very comfortable settees and chairs.....You did not want to leave !! The food was great with a good varied choice ....On one occasion I could not eat what was on the menu (due to medical problems ) but it was not a problem for the Chef who very kindly cooked me something fresh so that I did not go hungry ..........Service indeed ....A hotel to be highly recommended ......

My husband and I used to go to the former Loiriston Hotel regularly but as the service declined we stopped going a few years ago ....To our delight we heard that it had changed hands again and an old friend (Dan from the Dreadnought in Callander) was now in charge.....We could not wait to go back up to the now re-named Deeside Inn and renew our friendship with Dan once again ...........We were not disappointed...The food , ambience , and comfort of the Hotel room was as we expected ......Nothing is too much trouble for the staff ...even the Chef will cook you something different if (as happened in my case) due to medical problems there was nothing suitable for me to eat at dinner ....I left after dinner that night feeling a bit special that someone had bothered to do something different to accomodate my diet ......Many a Hotel I have stayed in has not bothered .....I cannot recommend the Deeside Inn highly enough and my husband and I cannot wait for April to come round when we intend to return for another enjoyable break
