First of all, i have never written anything bad in a review, until now. I was booked in for 3 nights through work as all hotels where full due to the grand prix.
I arrived late at 8pm, not realizing that you have to check in between 2pm and 7pm, however that was my employers fault for not telling me, as it was quite clear on the confirmation, but very strange i thought.
On arrival i was greeted by the owner, who was very nice, but said that they where full, but have got me a room in the neighbors house next door, the room was nice and big, very clean but had no TV, which is something you would expect in any room, they did say they would sort me out the following day.
On the second day i was moved back into the B&B, the room had 3 single beds in and was very dirty, not sure when it last had been dusted or hovered, and it had a shared shower, being used by another 10 workmen, so you can imagine how long i had to wait for a shower, and how clean it was.
The noise from these workmen who work weekends aswell, was very noisy, they are in and out till early hours with music blasting, then they are up at 6am, banging about and getting ready for work, i had very little sleep, and talking to some other guests at breakfast, they where saying the same about having no sleep.
In the morning you get continental breakfast which is self service as the owners do not stay in the building, so you dont get to see them. I had to go upto my room to boil a kettle for hot water as the hot water flasks where empty in the breakfast room.
I think it's pretty bad that the owners are not there and you have to help yourself, maybe if they had someone living there looking after the place, then it would be a quieter, cleaner place.
