We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our way to Scotland. It was in an ideal location and we found everything great for our needs - very clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly helpful staff. In fact we received a phone call on my mobile after we'd checked out, as I'd left 2 items in the room! Thanks to the efficiency of the staff we weren't too far away so could call back to pick them up. Thanks Premier Inn.

Arrived only to find restaurant closed for refurbishment but was not told before arrival. So had to get take away for breakfasts and dinners. On plus side reception had plenty of take away menus to choose from. Had got back to hotel on first night to find no towels in room. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Typical budget hotel,very clean rooms,helpful reception,plenty of parking and on a bus route.£6 or so in a taxi from the station.
Restaurant has great bar prices and good basic food at a decent price.
Carlisle is an interesting city well worth a visit.This is border land with Scotland.Frequent bus services and trains to Scotland.

Even though we had never been before, we were greeted like old friends on arrival by the reception staff!
Nothing was any trouble and unlike other places we have resided in, the tea, coffee and milk for the room was plentiful.
The room was lovely, warm & clean.
We had a marvellous nights sleep and the,` All you can eat breakfast` was fantastic!
Although all the Staff were very nice, one lady called Marion stood out as she always had a word with us and our kids and was very funny.
Only criticism was that similar to pubs, people stood just outside the reception door to smoke. Perhaps a dedicated smoking area away from the door would be helpful.
Really nice place to stay.
