Hi just back from the hallmark alovely warm andfriendly hotel very clean rooms spacious and fantastic shower the breakfast cooked to perfection we had a meal and the steak was amazing with hand cut chips and home made onion rings no frozen rubbish Iwould like to say abig thanks to claire thanks for my birthday card it meant alot you have a wonderful staff from reception to cleaners everyone made us feel very special Carlisle is agreat place to shop and a very nice town we will be back thankyou all so much

My husband booked The Hallmark last minute as we needed to stay in Carlise to visit relatives. We were impressed. The hotel is literally on the doorstep of the rail station so super convenient and well placed for a walk around the town. The room was clean and quiet with a really spacious bathroom and a very comfy bed (it wasn't pristine but hey, we're not paying 5 star prices). Ace breakfast with good coffee (hallelujah!). Very good value for money. We would recommend.

Excellent new year break - value for money and the staff were outstanding! Bedrooms ( well could have been classed as a suite) a little tired but spotlessly clean and the 'fourposter' was so comfy. Would recommend this hotel - and as stated previously the staff helped make the break that extra bit special, thank you all!!

Stayed here as we were in Carlisle to visit friends who are in pantomime there. Fab hotel ,free carparking, free wi-fi and right next to the rail station. Rooms large with full bath and shower over. Ate in the restaurant on Friday night and the meal was amazing. Breakfast buffet was also good, with lots of choice on both the hot and cold sections with a god selection of teas and coffees served at breakfast. Good hospitality tray in the rooms with ace biscuits too. Ideally situated for town centre shopping and only 5 mins drive from the M6 so really handy to get too.
Hope to be back for the panto next year
