We stayed at Hollytrees for the second time this year because we liked it so much in July, and we were not disappointed. We had the same room (2) which has a wonderfully comfy bed, and the bedroom and ensuite were spotless. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Steve and Pauline are perfect hosts - very friendly and helpful. They helped us to find a great place to visit on our journey home. We will most definately be returning to stay at Hollytrees again!

Arrived to a very friendly & warm welcome. Lovely house, very quirky nick- nacks around with real character. Room was spotless. Lovely extra attention to detail with chocolates and special bickies. Breakfast is served over a long period in the morning, so was Ideal for us as I had an early start the next day. The food was fab and served with pride. The price was excellent and I would recommend to anyone to stay there.

I found a real gem of a b&b here. Absolutely wonderful. Immaculately clean, lovely comfortable room, good location, great host and the breakfast, well that certainly set me up for the day. Delicious!!! Can't wait to go again. Definitely recommend Holly Trees to anyone thinking of visiting Carlisle!
