This is in a useful location just off the M1 near Sheffield and Rotherham. The rooms are large enough, with a big TV, but it was a bit chilly. The bathroom needs a bit of an update. The staff were all very friendly. Food in the evening and breakfast was very good although it's a bit pricey for a breakfast buffet. They have very good leisure facilities which other hotels around may lack. Overall you get what you expect from a holiday inn.

I went to the holiday in for a joint birthday for my dad and sister and arrived at the hotel 1 hour before he party so checked into my room with family and found it great. The room was nice and warm the t.v was on with a small greeting and found all the staff very helpful through the night . For the party we were in the seb Coe room. All the table were set very nicely the staff were very friendly and one staff member was happy enough to join in with dancing trying to get others up and succeeded.(manager) . The food was great very fresh and the d.j was more than happy to put on any song and find anything for karaoke even if he didn't have it. Breakfast was very good. Very nice greeting and very good selection for the buffet. Staff were very helpfull with everything needed and would like yk say a big thanks for makin our stay very welcoming and comfy and would defiantly recommend for functions or just a place to stay .

Booked our first all inclusive Christmas party night and I have to say I was very impressed, on arrival we was greeted in the reception area by a very friendly member of staff who took our name of the party and explained where we were dining (Peter Elliott Room) when we got to the room we were stamped on the wrist to show that we are all inclusive and also asked to take a glass of bubbly(sparkling wine with blackcurrant) very nice it was too. Once seated at the table bottles of white & red wine were already waiting and then the staff started serving the food straight away, they were all extremley friendly and very efficient only one slight issue I had the portion sizes were very small and poor presentation so needs a little improving. The game of stand up bingo was fantastic very organised and well thought up, as for the rest of the evening as much drink from the bar as you required and the dj did a marvelous job. Keep up the good work and i'll definately be booking again for next year

Excellent hotel, got the room I asked for at the back,and quiet, staff were helpful and friendly, the health club was good and the breakfast was good, with its good location a hotel I would recommend and wull be using again
