Being ready for bed at about midnight. Found bottom bed sheet too small for the bed. This rolled under me at every turn leaving me uncomfortablr and in direct contact with the unprotected mattress. After an uncomfortable night. I rose and went for breakfast. Whilst the food and veriety was adequate and of a good standard, the presantation was in my view in places un hygenic. The cutlery was presented with the blade/tynes and spoon bowls uppermost. thus one had to touch an number of items to extract those for own use. (Personal Hygiene??) also the baked beans cover was covered with beans and sauce it was difficult it remove without being self contaminated. The kitchen worker three times was at the serving unit ( Self serve) even replacing the adjacent unit and still did not attempt to replace the contaminated lid. I made my concerns known at the point of check out. I felt that my concerns re the bed were met with indifferance and my concern with breakfast hygene was being ignored. However I did receive a reasonable response from Ibis after On line complaint. They said they would look at my concerns re Hygene and check on my other concerns re bed etc.

“Useful base near to relatives”
We have stayed before and will probably stay again. Very useful base close to elderly relatives. Very friendly & helpful reception team. Everything clean and working. Shower could be stronger and would like armchair for tv watching. My daughter loved her buffet breakfasts!

“Basic but really nice.”
I stayed in this hotel for two nights when visiting friends who live nearby. It is a basic hotel with everything you need but few extras. It very clean, with very nice staff.
What more can you want when wanting a hotel as a place to sleep rather than a luxury experience?

“Would Stay Again”
Excellent Staff. Room Comfortable. Excellent Value For Money. Location Next To M18 But Noise Minimal. Close To Friendly Pub, McDonalds, Dominos Pizza Takeaway & Morrisons Supermarket. Plenty Of Options For Food & Drink. Breakfast Self Service Buffet Style. Plenty Of Choice To Eat.
Recommended Hotel.

“Cheap and Cheerful”
I stayed with my wife in November along with friends and we all went to the assembly.
Ideally situated off the motorway. Got a good quiet night's sleep. No traffic noise or noisy guests.
Nice modern decor, good electric heating in room, can plug your mp3 into TV, bed a bit hard though.
Morrisons with cafe, Mc Donalds and Carvery Pub right on the doorstep.
£26 a night? 'Ave it!
