Having just spent 4 days at this hotel can tell you that it falls into the average group of reviews
the double bedroom was claustraphobic facing a brick wall and a window that looked out onto another room so we had to keep the blinds closed, the shower room fine but if a large person you may have a problem and the bed base had collapsed at some stage and the mattress sank at an angle, other rooms may be ok, it was clean which was in its favour.

The food was edible but of mean portions i.e. a tablespoon of veg allowed per person i.e. a cauliflower floret and a portion of beans with 3 small slices of meat and a potato on a table of 4 really was not enough but you got used to it shame really because the food was cooked ok.
The staff where efficient but brusque in their attitude to you and only communicated to ask
what you wanted to drink. In all the Hotel was situated in a good position would I return?
no, not unless I was desperate.

My parents stayed at this hotel last week and asked me to putthis review on TA for them as they were so impressed with the hotel.
The room was a good size and had a terrific sea view. It was a large room with a tiny but adequate shower room.
The evening meal was served in the dining room as was the breakfast. Plenty of choice and always good food.
Entertainment had been layed on for 3 nights throughout the week ans was also very good.
They thoroughly enjoyed their week in the hotel.

Whilst my parents were staying at this hotel my mum took poorly (my dad suffers with dementia and mum is his main carer). She had a nasty virus and was confined to bed for two days! The staff at the hotel were amazing, they looked in on them hourly, bringing drinks and food and always made sure that my dad had his food as well. They didn't have to do this but did & my sisters and I are very grateful. A huge thank you to you all.

Mum and Dad have booked another week at the end of August.

staff very helpful and polite food excellent and varied rooms clean and tidy great location
entertainment very good would certainly return recommend to anybody
