Went on a cheap 4 night break. Welcomed by an extremely enthusiastic manager. The room was smallish but not cramped, and everything was clean. The staff were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food was simple but good and tasty and plenty of it. Public rooms are reasonably attractive and in keeping with the period of the hotel.

We have stayed here several times before over recent years with our children. We are both in our late 20's and have children aged 7 and 20 months. We found the acommodatin to be great. Okay its not boutique. But your in skegness! Fabulous sea front location, clean rooms, fab breakfast, FREE PARKING. and above all they cannot try to please you enough from the manager to the bar man at midnight. we have returned over the years becuase we know what we are getting. valiue for money, excellent location, and a 1st class good old fashioned service. i would recommend for all ages and also for families.

Have stopped at the county 5 times and its a really wonderful hotel.Its a little dated but is very very clean and always maintains this same standard.Ross and his staff are some of the most friendly people and never drop their service its a pleasure to be with them.Food is good and very well presented and considering that its in the region of only £25 pppn its extremely good.Rooms have been updated and have kept to a good standard and the old "remote" tv's have been updated to modern lcd's..... pity as we enjoyed the old system but its called getting into the 21st century.Never had a single problem and will be returning again many times for a good value week end in Skegness.Its ideally located with a very large private off road car park.Well done Ross keep this hotel just as it should be

4 night stay. Manager Excellent did whatever job that needed doing,did not sit on his rear end in his office. Great food . Staff very hard working, efficient, cheerful & helpful. Excellent value for money. Short walk to town.
